This spectrometer was designed for Nireos, a startup based in Milan that manufactures high-engineered and innovative devices in the spectroscopy field.

The internal components had to stay locked in a precise position to guarantee the device's performance.
Moving them wasn't an option, so the design had to work around them without compromising the look and feel Nireos was building across their range.

I decided to add strategic volumes for handling and screw placement, and kept a slightly irregular shape to naturally prevent users from positioning the product incorrectly. The signature lines that define Nireos' products make a return, this time doubling as heat dissipators. Every detail earns its place, doing something functional while contributing to the whole.
